Located in a scenic landscape, the vocational school BBS Bingen offers a variety of appealing full-time and part-time qualifications of general and higher occupational education. As a so-called “Bündelschule”, our school holds both a commercial and an industrial-technical department with together approximately 1,600 students and 90 teachers.
The BBS Bingen offers an extraordinary broad range of qualifications and trainings under one roof in modern facilities and laboratories. Our students have the opportunity to get occupational and general qualifications and competences in an active, practical and project-oriented way. Friendly classrooms and a remarkable sports hall allow for a holistic, student-orientated education and training which enables our students to self-depended and life-long learning.
The BBS Bingen is a vocational school rooted in its area: for the regional distinctiveness of its learning opportunities and qualifications, parental interests as well as specific business requests of the local companies play a decisive role. The focus of our quality-orientated school development lies with implementing a continued lesson development, which meets the ever-changing requirements of methods and contents.
All these aspects allow for the expansion of the BBS Bingen to a centre for innovation and competence in traditional and new occupations in the regions of Rheinhessen and Mittelrhein. There is a particular emphasis on information technologies as well as on offering additional qualifications acknowledged in the world of profession.
The BBS Bingen is committed to democratic values. There is a long tradition of learning location cooperation between our school and apprenticing companies as well as a partnership-based working relationship with guilds and chambers. Additionally, our school cooperates with other local education and training institutions (for example the University of Applied Sciences Bingen) and works closely together with partners outside the school. Furthermore, the BBS Bingen supports the international and social competence of its school community through cooperation, encounters and partnerships in- and outside of Germany.
