Diversity of vocational education

Located in a scenic landscape, the vocational school BBS Bingen offers a variety of different types of schools with a broad range of qualifications. About 90 teachers provide a sound and professional training and education as well as hands-on experience in the classroom.

Our students have the opportunity to acquire occupational and general qualifications and competences in an active and project-oriented way. Our modern facilities, including up-to-date laboratories, friendly class rooms and a remarkable sports hall, allow for a holistic, student-orientated education and training which enables our students to self-dependent and life-long learning.

Within the framework of our various vocational training opportunities for both, commercial and technical professions, the BBS Bingen is a reliable partner in the dual vocational training system. In perceiving this role, our school makes an effective contribution to ensure and foster future training capacities and the willingness to offer apprenticeships in our region.

This also applies for the division of vocational secondary education in our school. We offer attractive and interesting part-time and full-time courses to achieve occupational basic and higher qualifications.

The BBS Bingen is a vocational school rooted in its area. We put an emphasis on the following training areas as part of our regional distinctiveness: commercial office work, retailing and wholesaling, banking, and logistics as well as electrical engineering, IT, and automation technology. In addition, we offer additional qualifications acknowledged in the various employment sectors. The focus of our quality-driven school development lies with implementing a continued lesson development to meet the ever-changing requirements of training methods and contents.

The BBS Bingen is committed to democratic values. There is a long tradition of learning location cooperation between our school and training companies as well as a partnership-based working relationship with guilds and chambers. Additionally, our school cooperates with other local education and training institutions, e. g. the University of Applied Sciences Bingen, and works closely together with various other external partners. Furthermore, the BBS Bingen supports the international and social competence of its school community through cooperation, encounters and partnerships in- and outside of Germany.
